Specifically developed for the many women planning pregnancy, who do not obtain adequate levels of iodine and folic acid in their diet. To deliver optimum results for your pregnancy take from up to 5 months prior to conception.

1 tablet per day provides: 
Iodine which is important for the baby’s brain development, eyesight and hearing 
Folic acid which may reduce the risk of birth defects of the brain and/or spinal cord such as spina bifida

Recent studies reveal that the iodine status of Australian and New Zealand pregnant women appears to be declining and inadequate iodine intake is re-emerging as a widespread problem in the general population. 
Optimising iodine levels before pregnancy can take up to 5 months. Sufficient iodine levels are essential for good health for pre-conception, pregnancy and into childhood. 

Low levels of folic acid are strongly linked with an increased risk of neural tube defects. Supplementation with 400-500mcg of folic acid daily is recommended for healthy development of the foetus.
